5 places to see before you die flower smeller?
Tell us here.
Tell us why.
I've thought long and hard about this and there is really only one place I must see before I die....IRELAND!
Why? I've asked myself that very question. My family can't understand my passion for the place, either. All I can answer is that it calls to me. The hills, the food, the culture, the music, the PUBS...it all wants me there, if that makes any since. I could die now and not regret where I haven't been for the exception of Ireland.
Places I wouldn't mind going beyond that are:
China - People and food
Japan - I'd like to be on the set of a horror movie being made. Oh, and the food...KOBE BEEF!
That's about it.
my five....
England... family history and I just love everything british,
Ireland.... it feels right
Scotland.... the rolling hills
Europe in general... because its there
Antarctica because its blue
1. Any part of England - I have always love England and the late Princess Diana
2. Africa - it is a wonderful place on Earth
3. France - supposed to be the most romantic place
4. USA - can never tour the whole country but would love to visit Grand Canyon
5. Asia - some bite here and there..too many places..wish to be able to visit all but heh,in dreams..
1 Australia- I heard it is the best country to live, familiair, beautiful, and sunny
2 New zealand- love to see the lord of the rings landscape
3 Curacao- blue sea, sun, white beach, relaxed atmosphere
4 Costa Rica- no idea, sounds nice and chill
5 Uganda- just to see the stories i heard about it
1. United Kingdom
2. Australia
3. Canada
4. Scotland
5. All of Western Europe, but I guess that is cheating (but I can't choose one)
The top three are because I want to visit my e-buddies and meet them in person and see the sites they talk about and the eats they talk about.
It was between Scotland and Ireland. I picked Scotland because an old co-worker went there every year and it sounded and looked so beautiful.
Europe ~ 25 years ago I did a whirlwind 3 1/2 week 14 countries trip...I'd like to go back as an older person with my husband and enjoy and really take in the country at a reasonable pace.
Oh dear. Five countries? I'd like to see ALL of them. But I'll go with a few I haven't seen yet:
1. Egypt. Because I read a book set in Cairo and I want to experience it for myself.
2. Bulgaria. I have absolutely no reason for this, except I think it'd be awesome.
3. Kazakhstan. Apples are from there. Did you know that? Again, inexplicable urge to go and see.
4. Argentina. I had an awesome professor from Buenos Aires. But it's a toss-up between there and Chile.
5. Mexico. I have lived in 2 states that border Mexico for a total of 6 years, and in the US for most of my life. I've been to Canada, but never Mexico. I *need* to go to Mexico. (I should make it #1.)
A great list Mimi....
I've only done the Egypt thing and would love to include yours...
Afghan & Iran also meant to be stunning, seriously!
changes do happen. I know they are the trace of time , adidas f50 adizero, irresistible and inevitable. the moment I saw my father I should not recognize him.I know he is getting old ,but returning home after more than 4moths,the symptoms of old should have grown beyond my imagination. I felt guilt and regret. I know I am the killer who take away his strength and youth.apparently he was pleased that I arrived so early and brought presents for them. when I was young I always thought he was some kind of tyrant , stern and severe.Nike Mercurial Vapor, I thought he was not approachable and touching.while with years passing by, in the process of my growing up and his getting old , these impression fades and instead it is replaced by words as gentle caring and loving . he played cheese and badminton with me, he would sing with me , he cooked for me , he chat with me , he is tolerant of me.my dear father and all my families , I say sorry for my past fault , I know sometimes I just easily surrender myself to the various temptation, and lose myself and my way. but believe me , I just easily surrender myself to the various temptation, and lose myself and my way. football boots, but believe me ,my experience is added over time and I can preserve my values and trace my path to maturity
