Let me think. I tend to move places, rather than take trips, but I've done a few (yes, a few!) cross-country road trips in the US, and they've all had their own little moments of loveliness. Crossing the Mississippi for the first time, pondering the kudzu in Georgia, wallowing in the vast emptiness of Wyoming, spending the night on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. </p> <p>Outside the US, the summer I spent working in Jamaica was nice. Or the day getting lost in Seoul or Easter in Rome with the Pope (well, seeing the Pope - I didn't exactly hang out with him)...goodness, I can't pick one best trip. I love travelling in general. It;s like NYC with the volume at a reasonable level.</p> <p>In Europe, Tuscany is amazing, I spent many a happy time buying great wine in Montalcino, and Montepulciano.
